Here’s the longer, more involved promo for “You Don’t Have What it Takes” to which I alluded earlier.
Once again: I love my job. Although this one was stressful (for time and execution reasons) it was a lot of fun to make.
This was a more collaborative effort than normal, which I love. Kevin Ely took the concept and wrote the script, shot/edited the green screen footage, and edited the audio – while I created and composited the cgi elements/effects. Â Abbi Zeliff and Lisa Branson were invaluable in organizing the talent and costumes.

Did the keying with Primatte – my first time to use it. I’ve got a lot to learn about it, so the jury’s still out, but the learning curve is a bit steep. I’ve used lots of keyers and can usually jump in with no instruction. Not really so with Primatte.

Awesome work Bryan! I love what you guys are doing with this series, looks like it was a lot of fun to work on.
I dig the new look of your blog too.
Thanks, Cameron!
My old look was pretty bad, actually. ha ha. One of those, “i’m-too-busy-with-design-to-work-on-my-stuff-so-I’ll-slap-something-up-temporarily” things that stays way too long.
